Why do we use hemp in our products?
The hemp plant is incredibly easy to grow. It grows to maturity in 90-120 days absorbing large amounts of CO2 and can grow in almost any climate. It doesn’t deplete soil, with minimal water, and can be cultivated successfully without herbicides. It’s also naturally resistant to pests, so there’s no need for pesticides.
It’s a more efficient way to grow our food (and even our clothing) than cotton or other crops.
The hemp plant helps fight climate change, as one acre of hemp sequesters the equivalent amount of carbon as 4 acres of old-growth forest—meaning hemp supports a greener future.
Is hemp a superfood?
Hemp seeds contain the richest plant-based source of Omega-3, 6, and 9 fatty acids, along with every amino acid known to man.
Hemp seeds are also high in protein, vitamins A, C, and E, as well as calcium, zinc, and magnesium.
